[ NoName had received a text on his phone like usual whenever Zelkova wants to meet up. He really considered just sleeping it off to deal with it tomorrow, buthe might as well get this out of the way. He has a feeling he knows what Zelkova wants to talk about.

They meet up in Great Fortune's Radiation as always. ]

You wanted to see me?

[ They're here for a reason, so might as well get to it. ]

What happened with Swallow? I encouraged her to try getting PKed in case it might help her log out, and you know how much I don't like PKing. She told me it was a bad idea. Do you know why?

Yeah.

[ But will he tell Zelkova? Just the way he said that single-word statement alone can anyone tell that he refuses to budge on talking about that particular topic. He isn't hostile right now, but he sure is stubborn and sounds tired. ]

[dzelkva]

[ He eyes Hien, tilting his head a bit to look up at him. ]

Is that all you have to report?

[ He holds back on clicking his tongue. NoName wishes Zelkova wouldn't look at him like that. He already feels somewhat guilty since he asked Zelkova to look into the cap gear earlier and when Zelkova is asking him for something, he can't provide. ]

... Yeah.

[ He bites back a "sorry" and just breathes out. Perhaps it would be obvious to Zelkova that NoName isn't choosing not to divulge what happened of his own choice, since he usually speaks his mind even if it's a terrible thing to say at the moment. ]

[ It's definitely obvious, to the point that he momentarily digs into NoName's files again to see if he signed an NDA or something along those lines. ]

I see. I guess that means we have nothing else to talk about.

[ I have no idea but we can pretend he did if that makes it easier ekjrgherjk ]

... If you're worried about something like that, try to reach me as soon as you can. And I'll deal with it for you.

[ He thinks that's really all he can say about it and sighs. He didn't want to feel too shitty right before bed, but here he is. He hasn't gotten enough sleep lately. ]

The players were concerned with the way you dealt with this. I wanna avoid things like that in the future.

[ So does NoName, but he doesn't know how else to go about it. He lets out a frustrated sigh. ]

I dunno how to go about it. I'm just doing my job. I don't care if they hate me.

Why not? Don't you want friends?

[ It's a genuine question. Why wouldn't he care about that? ]

I'm not here... to make friends.

[ His voice drifts off. It's insecure. It wavers. He hates it. He's more used to hate and dislike towards him. Even the kindness his roommate gives him is still new to him even though it has been at least a year. ]

I don't want them.

[dzelkva]

...Why?

[ Who wouldn't want friends anyway? It doesn't make sense to him. Sure, he's seen Hien's background history via the background check, but... even so. Shouldn't he want them more because of all of that? ]

[ Zelkova would be right. If possible, making friends would be nice. But would he allow himself to do that?

... ]

... Because no one can ever hate "Hien" as much I do.

[ With that, he turns to leave. ]

[ ...Ah. He thinks he understands now, at least somewhat.

Which is why he lets Hien go for now. ]
