[he looks at him uncertainly, if blearily through the cold.]

I-If you're not here to kill me... then who are you?

"My name is Hien, and I'll help you get warm."

[ He's not going to use his cloak to help with that because he doesn't want to suck child Lucien in and cause some possible irreversible void trauma, so he takes that off and then his hoodie sweater to put the latter over Lucien's head and to pull it down. There. Was he lying down? He steadied him up. Sorry for the abrupt positioning. ]

"Let's get you a warmer place too. The weather and snow would kill you before anyone else would get to."

[ So Hien picks Lucien up by the sides and holds him close to his chest. Up you go. ]

he's still kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop, but the warmth IS nice so he curls into hien a bit.]

They finally arrive at the manor where it's a little warmer. He places child Lucien on a comfortable chair, leaves, comes back with two blankets, and adjusts it carefully around the child. ]

[ He says that firmly as he adjusts the blankets around Lucien some more for optimal warmth. ]
