[ Hien is sitting at one of the tables and eating normally. If it weren't for his eyes, he'd look like a normal person eating at an IHOP. Though with Thorns's presence, Hien looks up from his food and nods to him after making eye contact. ]

[ He pauses his eating to greet him properly. ]

"I feel mostly fine if not guilty for the earlier violence, if that's what you wanted to ask."

[ it was likely frightening to witness, but the fact it involved people they grew to care about was probably the more horrifying part. ]

[ Hien can say that he's used to it all the same, but it's still terrifying. It's a certain kind of horror to witness someone get chomped on like that by some nebulous monster that probably threatened to eat all of them too. ]

I was. But I know there are people you're closer to, and they were likely more concerned.

[ since that's how relationships work. he won't pretend his level of panic was on the same level as people like edamura or elysium. ]
